Daycare at D is for Doggy is:
1. Safe & Clean!
- Certified Pet Care Technicians monitor all programs.
- Hi-powered ventilation system ensures fresh air circulation 24 hours a day.
- Veterinarian on call 24 hrs a day, in case of emergency.
2. Personalized for urban hounds!
We love New York, but we know the flood of unnatural sights and sounds can be unsettling for our pets. Our daycare incorporates the most current dog training methods to help keep your dog happily acclimated to city life:
- Introduction to sidewalk distractions like roller blades, skateboards, luggage and bicycles to reduce fear-inducing responses.
- Gentle exposure to sounds like sirens, doorbells, construction, fireworks and thunder to teach that these sounds are no cause for alarm.
- In-wall “scent holes” designed to exercise your dog’s keenest sense – smell. Each scent hole features a different odor to keep your dog’s mind active and sharp!
- Rotation of staff appearance (hats, large bags, uniforms, umbrellas, etc.) to encourage comfort around a diverse NY crowd.

- Our largest daycare room and obstacle course allowing dogs enough room to leap, sprint, and crawl under, over and through an obstacle course.
- Direct access to our 800 sq. ft. backyard.
- Regulated periods of activity and rest to avoid exhaustion and over-stimulation.
- Constant supervision and reinforcement of safe play behaviors.
